If we don't wait then the wrong thing gets copied (a picture box
instead of the text in it), and as a text value it becomes an
empty string, and tests fail.

UNO hates null strings, and the C++ implementation of the SDBC-JDBC bridge
was converting nulls to empty strings, so do the same.
Fix parsing strings into UNO timestamps.
